The South of Italy, to be precise Latronico, is where everything started, a small village in the heart of the Pollino National Park. After High School, I undertook the Industrial Design course at Istituto Italiano Design of Perugia (Italy), where I acquired the theoretical and fundamental techniques for my vocational education, with terrific final results. Soon after graduating from my course, I secured myself a number of opportunities for on-the-job training which allowed me to work as part of a team to create designs using both drawing and computer software skills. My success in the "Ellesse 50th anniversary design competition" opened new horizons in my life, as I was rewarded with the opportunity to move to London where I held an internship with the Ellesse company. After gaining some valuable experience in the hospitality industry, I resumed my career in 3D design at MyMiniFactory which is specialises in 3D printing. This role not only taught me which types of prints work best, but the common pitfalls of 3D printing and how 3D printers work.
On December 2015 my project "Lucciola Chair" received an "honarable mention" at 2015 VMODERN Furniture Design Competition. I am currently collaborating as Product Designer with Scales&Models company into the production of bespoke objects for private commisions.
